As I look back at the past months till date… and look forward to a new year, new hope, new opportunities, new level of fellowship with my Lord and Maker… and many more positive “news” that I can not even fathom; I realize that the norm in time past with me had been to have a list of what I believe God for in the New Year.
Then it dawned on me… why not try a new approach this time? Not that the old didn’t work, but I am filled with so much gratitude and awe at the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord that I thought, “why not a list of what I am thankful for in the past months (and even years)? Why not a celebration of Him and His unfailing love and faithfulness? Why not a sacrifice of praise even when I don’t feel like it? Why not enter His gates with praise and His courts with thanksgiving as the clock strikes 12:00 am Jan 1st, 2010… and in the next few days before then… “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” – Ps 34:1. What will you do?
… Remember, thanksgiving trigger miracles…
